How
The treatment starts with diamond microdermoabrasion (a modern and very effective skin peeling) – to remove the old skin layers. After the skin is treated with Skin Scrubber, that enables the application in the underlying deeper skin layers.
The skin pores are cleaned and stimulated – which results in a silky smooth looks and feel. With the ultrasonic peeling will be applied a combination of highly effective active ingredients such as hyaluron and vitamins – specially fitting your skin needs – and delivered in the deeper skin layers. PIGMENTATION TREATMENT
Why
Cosmelan is a treatment with 95% efficacy proven, indicated to equalize skin tone, reduce or eliminate dark spots on the skin which are caused by disturbances in the process of melanin production, mostly in face area. Irregular pigmentation and pigment marks are nowadays one of the serious and wide-spread issues. The causes are different – genetic, depending on the skin type, hormonal changes during pregnancy or menopause or too much sun. The Cosmelan pigmentation treatment inhibits the melanin production in the epidermis – in the places of excessive melanin production by which the pigment marks completely disappear or are significantly decreased.
How
Cosmelan works by slowing the production of melanin, which causes dark, blotchy spots to appear on the skin. The ingredients in Cosmelan inhibit the melanin-forming enzyme tyrosinase. Once this enzyme is blocked, the cells produce less melanin, and fewer dark spots rise to the surface of the skin. The Cosmelan Depigmentation treatment is only administered by our experienced therapist. 70% of the mask will be applied on your initial visit. 21 days later you will come in for the remaining 30% in the form of a spot treatment. In between you need to use support products at home, on a daily basis, according to the instructions.

Before and during the treatment
- Important: If you have undergone any previous treatments, especially with glycolic acid, these treatments must be completely stopped at least one week prior to using Cosmelan® Depigmentation treatment.
- The treatment must not be interrupted under any circumstances, during the whole time prescribed. As melanin production is being suppressed, failure to maintain proper use of sunscreen and your support products may allow reactivation of pigment production cycles.

After the treatment
- You MUST protect your skin from sun exposure with a full spectrum sunblock to prevent pigmentation return
- In most cases, you begin to see significant improvement in two weeks
- You will initially experience slight reddening, tightening, and flaking of the skin – it is normal. If the skin is very sensitive, you may experience an itching feeling
Once the new layer of skin emerges, the dark patches disappear, and the complexion looks even and smooth.
